Infinitely Kusama

Japanese 82-years-old Icon, Yayoi Kusama and Louis Vuitton will be launching their collection on July

10th this year the collection is made of accesories, leather good, ready-to- wear  but of  course  the most

expected by the fans will be the bags. It's not the first  time that Marc Jacobs and Kusama have

collaborated, he is known to be very inspired by her work, in fact in the "Marc Jacobs and Louis

Vuitton" documentary he has really interesting conversations with her. It will surely be a very natural

collaboration.  I am not a fan a Vuitton, but I do think that Marc + Kusama is a match made in heaven,

Im looking foward to see the complete collection.

Rack360 - Naolab ®

Rack360 - Naolab ®

The Rack 360 is an 80 cm tall stack of drawers, that open in a spiral way. It's practical an designed for

small spaces because it only uses 10 cm of space to fit 12 drawers. Its pretty practical for color pencils,

markers and DYT materials in general, I would  totally wear it for that, now I have all my stuff all over

the place. What would you use it for?

Switcheroo by Hana Pusut

The idea is to get some couples to choose their own clothes and then switch it with their

partner. This results in some funny images. The idea, is questioning gender, What makes

us masculine us femenine? Why do we think are clothes makes us that way? I believe it's a

very interesting experiment. Images speak for themselves.

I Specially like this two couples because  they also added attitude to the photos wich makes them a lot funner to watch an also puts emphasis on the  goal of them, which is exchanging roles.

Aaron Farley's Horizons

These are not real photographs of real things. The original photographs are of water and

clouds and these are photographs of those photographs, turned on their side, moved,

reshot, reprinted, cut and folded, and reassembled to create a different scene which still

looks familiar. This is the way photographer Aaron Farley conceived his last project

Berndnaut Smilde

Berndnault Smilde is the amsterdam-based artist who has made this instalations wich

result in a mixture of physics and art. Smilde introduced smoke, moisture and

backlighting in a vacant room and  this way he  is able to create an optical  illusion that

makes us think there is a cloud in a room. Genius.

On the words of the  artist:

"you could see the cloud as a sign of misfortune. you could also read it as an element out of the dutch

landscape paintings
in a physical form in a classical museum hall. at the same time I wanted to make (for once) a very clear image,

an almost cliché
and cartoon like visualization of having bad luck: 'indeed, there nothing here and bullocks, it’s starting to rain!''

A Lab Milano's S/S 2012

Inspired  in the amazon: jungle like prints, saturated and eye catching. Green to yellow pastels on the color palets. Sculptural and organic shapes that flater the female body.
Love this collection for it's energy and  playfulness.

SMOKE

SMOKE

For some days now, I have been going crazy about this images on pinterest then I finally

found who made them. This husband + Wife creative team did a beautiful work contrasting

the

smoke's color with the desert's landscape

Amazing contrast between the purple and peach with the snowy forest back ground I imagine this

being the set for a fantasy book.

"Smart. Exclusive.Design"

Exclusive e-commerce that features high end designer objects. The best thing about this

site  is the amount of products for sale, which is very small which guaranties that they  have

been hand picked by their  team of curators.
